In-person sessions take place at The Practice Rooms, 10 Park Grove, Cardiff, CF10 3BN.
Online sessions available UK-wide by video call or telephone.
Confidentiality
Everything shared in sessions is confidential but there are some instances where I am bound by the law and would have to break confidentiality. This includes:
- A judge or coroner requests copies of my notes via a court order.
- You disclose information about a serious crime such as money laundering, terrorism and/or drug trafficking. In this instance, I would need to notify the police.
- You are in danger of hurting yourself or someone else.
- Similarly, if you reveal information about children or vulnerable adults being seriously at risk, I will report that to the relevant authorities.
I will always try to speak to you about this first, unless there are safeguarding issues that prevent this. If I have to break confidentiality due to one of the reasons outlined above, I will speak to my Clinical Supervisor for advice and support.
